It is apparent that one of the significant challenges that has caused regressive state of the African youth compared to the rest of the world is the inimical legislation and policies in many African Countries. Many of these policies outrightly and systematically screen out the youths from governance and core economic activities of the nation.

The policy institute of the YPLN shall focus on research and analysing the prevailing laws and policies and propose or advocate for modifications, enactment of new laws and outright abolitions of policies where required.
