The team of Young Politicians and Leaders Network consist of accomplished and successful youths across all facets of life. They are passionate individuals who had encountered the same challenges youths in Africa are currently facing but had managed to achieve success. Their goal is to address the factors that are inimical to youth development and create an enabling environment for youths to thrive and make a meaningful impact in the society.

EMMANUEL ADDO | FOUNDER, PRESIDENT & CHIEF EXECUTIVE
Completed the University of Ghana, holds Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Mgt. & Leadership, Master of Business Administration and a Doctorate degree.
Emmanuel characterises energy, integrity, result oriented, passion and ground breaking service in each detail of strategic management, change management, stakeholder management, leadership and activism.
His passion for politics and his believe that the politics of the old that has produced the same old results that has seen the African continent still unable to stand on its own is what drives him to find sustainable and realistic solution.
Emmanuel believes part of Africa’s problem is apt leadership and a culture that needs radical transformation.
His quest to drive this change and see a total transformation in the body politics and leadership, provide a platform for young politicians and aspiring politicians/leaders and young entrepreneurs to engage in productive mentorship, continuous training & development and high level networking initiatives is what led him to found the Kickstart Innovation Hub Ltd and the Young Politicians & Leaders Network-Global.
JOANNA IDOKOGI | ASSOCIATE PARTNER & GLOBAL CHIEF PROGRAMMES OFFICER
Joanna Idokogi is a graduate from the University of Manchester where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations.
She is a Co-founder of AYAL- Aspiring Young African Leaders, Manchester’s first African Leaders society whose aim is to motivate students to get involved in the affairs of the continent and to use their education to build a better Africa.
Her time as an intern at the Vienna Tourism Board helped her to perfect her organizational skills.
She speaks German, English and Spanish.
Joanna until recently was our Vice President in charge of Programmes and Activities (Europe). She has been promoted to the office of Global Chief Programmes Officer.

KENNEY ISAAC DEBRAH | ASSOCIATE PARTNER & CHIEF PROGRAMMES & PLANNING OFFICER (AFRICA) & AG. HEAD, FINANCE- GHANA OPERATIONS
Kenney Isaac Debrah is a young Ghanaian banker and economist by profession. Kenney joined GCB bank limited in the year 2014. Previously he was an ICT tutor at SCI TECH EDUCATION CENTER a basic school in Accra. He successfully did this from 2009 to 2014.
Kenney holds a BA degree in Political Science from the University of Ghana and an MSc degree in Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Kenney is very passionate about youth empowerment and development.
Kenney joined the Young Politicians & Leaders Network as a Programs and Activities Officer and got promoted to the position of Chief Programmes Officer overseeing all activities of Programme Directors and ensuring the successful implementation of YPLN’s events and now has received another due to his hard work as Associate Partner and Chief Programmes & Planning Officer for the entire Africa Operations.
FRANCESCA ONYINA | VICE PRESIDENT IN CHARGE OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & PARTNERSHIP (EUROPE)
Miss Francesca Onyina is a postgraduate student studying Medicine at The University of Sheffield.
She also has a degree in Biomedical science.
As the President of The African Affairs Network (AAN) at The University of Sheffield she has helped to organise events with a political undertone.

Through 8+ years of experience in Higher Education Institution (HEI) and Corporate South Africa, I have acquired knowledge and essential skills in Project Management, Research Management and Technology Management. In my professional life I have worked at several HEIs and currently employed at a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE).
I am a graduate of both Rhodes University (RU) and North West University (NWU); holding a BSc in Applied Mathematics and Chemistry from NWU, BSc Honours in Applied Mathematics and master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from RU. I have recently been bestowed the global credential by Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAMP). I am also a proud registered member of this international Project Management profession institution. I am passionate about young people and education – in this regard, I am the Founder of a Non-Profit Organisation named Holy Trinity Mentorship Programme (HTMP) that focuses on Career Guidance and Mentoring of learners. I also serve as a Career Coach through Career Build programme that assists Youth to plan and choose their careers based on their knowledge of their God given talents, personality and purpose.

GENEVIEVE PEARL DUNCAN | CHIEF PROJECT OFFICER IN CHARGE OF KICKSTART ENTREPRENEURSHIP CHALLENGE – KICKSTART INNOVATION HUB
Genevieve Duncan is an experienced banker with expertise in relationship and wealth management, and managing teams to perform at the highest level. Genevieve manages Fidelity Bank’s A&C Mall branch, where she is responsible for delivering sustained growth in the branch business and contributing to the bottom-line result of the bank.
She is Management-certified by the Cranfield Business School (UK), Harvard Business School and CEIBS China. Genevieve is currently a doctoral candidate at Swiss Business School. She holds EMBA from the University of Ghana Business School, and a Business Administration graduate from GIMPA. Genevieve is an associate member of the Retail Banking Academy (UK), and also a full member of the Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance, New Mexico (USA).
She is a career planning trainer, a student coach and has passion for entrepreneurial empowerment and capacity building for the youth and women.

Miss Ruth Addo joined YPLN in 2018 as a Programs & Activities Officer. Ruth holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Cape Coast and also holds a Bachelor of Technology with specialization in Accounting with Computing from the Kumasi Technical University, Ghana. She has an impeccable background in sales having worked for Vanguard Assurance Company Limited in Ghana.
She was the Secretary of the Electoral Commission at Kumasi Technical University. She is a product of St. Louis Senior High School.
Ruth is passionate about youth development and empowerment.

PRISCIE D. ADENYIKOR | EXECUTIVE SECRETARY
A graduate of the University of Ghana, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics &
Political Science, Master of Arts degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the
Legon Center for International Affairs and Diplomacy.
Priscie is a young aspiring diplomat and politician who has gained training in both
respects. Priscie is passionate about the youth in political leadership and believes that
the youth need to be conscientized to take up such roles. Again, she believes that the
youth need to be encouraged to take up entrepreneurial roles since entrepreneurship is one of the driving forces of success today.
Passionate about the vulnerable in society, coupled with philanthropic inclination,
Priscie hopes to run several charity organizations in future to address some of the
needs of this group of people.
