EMMANUEL ADDO- FOUNDER & CEO|
Emmanuel Obiri Addo characterizes energy, integrity, result oriented, and ground-breaking service in each detail of strategic management, change management, stakeholder management and leadership acquaintances. As a television personality, author and public speaker who has appeared on over 80 media platforms and still counting, Emmanuel has risen to countrywide reputation as a Political Analyst by conveying high energy messages that provide youths, business leaders, and professionals with the analysis on issues related to politics in Africa as a whole.
Fashioned from the ancestry of Mr. Augustine Addo, a top insurance professional/executive; Emmanuel owns a core background in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Ghana and has branded his family legacy with over ten years premium experience in strategic planning and in the research industry.
With an MBA from Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge, he has dependably shown the zeal to satisfy clients not only as a business professional but as a valuable negotiator in areas of supply chain management, logistics, project development and implementation.
Emmanuel holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership from the London College of Advanced Management.
His research interests and active collaboration in the areas of Business management and entrepreneurship isn’t one born out of unintended thoughts. Emma has embarked on an extensive research journey; such as research on Women entrepreneurship in developing countries, the sustainability of international marketing strategies and Exploring Corporate Entrepreneurship Strategy as his latest doctoral thesis.
Being a resourceful writer and author of several motivational contents, Emma through industrial attachment at the Vanguard Assurance Company Ltd, Ghana has taken consultancy and marketing expertise to the next level and with a lasting record as the Chief Strategy and Research Consultant with a leading Automation Company in UK.
Leveraging his experience as a political activist and a dynamic young man, Emmanuel founded the Young Politicians & Leaders Network, a youth organization that comprises of young politicians from all Ghanaian political parties with the aim of campaigning a mutual agenda for the Ghanaian youth and promoting youth participation in civility and good governance as well as promoting entrepreneurial culture.
Emma is currently pursing law and hope to be a Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer soon with the aim of specializing in Immigration, Family and Criminal Law.
Having spent a lot of time overseas studying as an entrepreneur, and in his current role as Director of Research & Operations at Research Ideal Ltd, UK, Emmanuel nurtures an environment of teamwork and have expertise in data collection and analysis as well as both quantitative and qualitative methods.
Emmanuel’s priceless virtue includes an impressive background in teaching. He voluntarily worked as a History course assistant/representative at the University of Ghana under the History Lecturer Mr. Kyeremeh and helped in teaching and leading study group discussions.
Emma worked as an Assistant Lecturer at the London College of Advanced Management where he delivered a wide range of business management courses that involved principles of marketing, leadership, operation management, and research methods. Emma has always maintained a high teaching and learning standards to ensure that his students’ standout in academic achievements and successful progression. As a stout believer and passionate key player in volunteering; Emma creates quality time to giving back gladly to his community what he has learned and to educate individuals with free consultancy on career development. He is a leader anyone would love to look up to and with great integrity, commitment and passion to make the world a better place.
EMMANUEL KWAME TWUM ASAIMAH- FOUNDING MEMBER
Emmanuel Kwame Twum Asiamah is a Barrister – at- Law and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana.
He is currently a Projects Coordinator at the Office of the President of the Republic of Ghana, seconded to the Office of the Second Lady.
Kwame is the Company Secretary of Samira Empowerment and Humanitarian Projects, a not-for-profit organisation founded and managed by the Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Her Excellency Hajia Samira Bawumia.
Kwame is internationally exposed, having attended international conferences and fora in United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Italy, Switzerland, India, Nigeria and South Africa.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (First Class Honours), in Political Science, and Bachelor of Laws Degree from the School of Law, University of Ghana. He also holds a Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law. Kwame has an Advanced Certificate for Corporate Executives in Accounting and Finance Management. He holds the foregoing certificate also in Insurance and Risk Management.
GERTRUDE AKUA ADDOBEA- EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Gertrude Addobea holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Central University. She has extensive experience in the Banking sector and is passionate about youth empowerment and development.
PROF. RANSFORD GYAMPO – MEMBER & CHAIR, NOMINATIONS & AWARDS COMMITTEE
Born on 31st March 1977, Prof Ransford Gyampo is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the Centre for European Studies at the University of Ghana.
Until recently, he was a visiting scholar at the Department of Government and International Relations at the University of South Florida, USA.
He currently serves as Visiting Professor at the Institute of Advanced Studies at the University of Bristol, UK.
In addition, he was a Senior Research Fellow at the Governance Unit of the Institute of Economic Affairs and led several research projects and played a key role in the IEA’s Socio-Economic and Governance Surveys for over a decade.
For 14 years, Professor Gyampo served as the Coordinator of the Ghana Political Parties Programme, a programme that brings together the Political Parties with representation in Ghana’s Parliament to discuss issues of national importance in a non-partisan manner and to propose practical solutions to them.
He is a member of Ghana’s Electoral Reforms Committee and played a key role in identifying the challenges of Ghana’s electoral processes and submitting electoral reform proposals to the Electoral Commission for the purposes of fine-tuning Ghana’s electoral system.
He is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Democratic Governance (IDEG) with the responsibility of handling research issues relating to strengthening developmental parties and improving democratic devolution in Ghana.
He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Ghana and Tufts University in Boston, USA. His research interest lies in the areas of Governance, Democracy, Human Rights, Natural Resource Management, Youth Empowerment and Development.
He is currently researching and writing on possible solutions to Ghana’s winner-takes-all politics, which polarizes developing nations and undermine national development.
He has published extensively in many internationally refereed journals across the globe.
Prof Gyampo is a Christian by faith and enjoys playing football and riding motor bike as hobbies.
Professor Gyampo joins YPLN as a Board Member and Chair, Nominations & Awards Committee.
NABILA ALHASSAN BASIRU – BOARD MEMBER
Nabila Alhassan Basiru is the National Youth Organizer for the Conventions People’s Party.
He is a member of EIA Youth Policy Development & Analysis and Young Parliamentary Forum of Ghana.
Mr. Basiru is also a member of the African Youth Network for Democracy and Governance.
STEPHANIE ITIMI – BOARD MEMBER
Stephanie Itimi is a UK based intelligence analyst, business strategist, and a visual curator who is passionate about data-driven policymaking and economic development. She has a track record of facilitating significant development initiatives and was part of the team that pioneered the world’s first public health information service inside the WhatsApp platform. It provided content in text, images and audio to users in West Africa from the BBC World Service as well as through partners Unicef, World Health Organisation, World Food Programme and the Centre for Disease Control.
She has also played a leading role in the creation and production of high-profile projects in Slovakia, Morocco, UK, Uganda & several West African countries through her various consultancy experiences with Culture Fez, Balloon Ventures and the European Commission, advocating freedom of information, digital literacy, economic empowerment and gender equality.
She is an Advisor at Africa Business Portal and sits at the Advisory Board for Cyber2018. She is a published author of an academic book titled “The Informal Sector in Nigeria and its impact on Development”. She has also published online articles on various mediums, through the use of poetry, research and political analysis to discuss various issues limiting the development growth of the African continent.
She recently founded Seidea, an organisation which focuses on female-centric human development through technology.
The organisation has three projects;
– code/story, a coding club for BAME girls 9-16
– excel/her, a microsoft excel workshop for women over 35
– inform/her, a business workshop for women operating business within the informal sector
Stephanie earned a BA degree in economics from Coventry University and an MSc in Global Economic Governance and Policy at SOAS, University of London. She has also recently obtained a Front and Back-end programming course with the famed organisation Code First: Girls.
Stephanie currently works as Cyber Intelligence Analyst at the UK Government.
MS. MO OBADINA, FCCA, FCA- MEMBER
Ms. Mo Obadina (aka MOJO) is currently a Lecturer (Entrepreneurship & Digital Media) at Coventry University, UK and a visiting Lecturer (MBA-Enterprise & Entrepreneurship Mgt.) at London South Bank University.
Ms Mo Obadina is a Fellow of the ACCA (Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants) and ICAN Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
She is also the lead academic on the Migrants Programme for Entrepreneurship at the LSBU (EU funded).
She holds Diplomas in Coaching, Digital Media and Project Management.
She is workshop/trainer for Enterprise Centres in London and has featured as a resident Business Coach on Radio and TV.
Ms. Obadina is the CEO of Mo’s Mojo, a consultancy firm aimed at helping Businesses with strategy, marketing and social media in UK.
Ms. Mo Obadina is a multi-award winning business coach, speaker and love entrepreneurship so much that she even wrote about it – The 5*rated business book on Amazon “Unleash Your Business MOJO!
With over 20 years’ experience in SME business management, marketing and transforming businesses through training, consultancy and coaching – she has helped businesses grow.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance from London South Bank University and a Post Graduate in Business Administration and Management.
Christine is a barrister, currently employed by the Crown Prosecution Service, UK. Her work involves prosecuting criminal cases mainly in the magistrate’s court. Christine is very passionate about her work. She enjoys ﬁghting for the rights of victims and bringing to them some sort of justice.
Christine was called to the Bar in July 2016. She was awarded the St. Mary’s Chambers Prize for scoring the second highest mark in Family law. She was also awarded the Deans Excellence Award- a merit-based part scholarship to pursue the Bar course at Nottingham Law School (Nottingham Trent University).
She holds an LLB Law Degree and LLM International Law and International Relations from the University of Kent, Canterbury. She also holds a BSc Land Economy Degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana.
Christine is also interested in International work and aspires to pursue an International legal career in the Long term. As part of her love for International work, she was selected and funded by the Inner Temple to attend the Sir Geoffrey Nice Master Class on the Political Expediency of the International Criminal Courts (ICC)in Dubrovnik, Croatia (July 2018). This conference provided the opportunity to interact with judges and lawyers from the ICC, ex-presidents of states and other leading experts from around the world. In February 2018, she attended the United Nations Youth Assembly Conference in New York. As a UN observer, she contributed to the conversation about the sustainable development goals 2030 Agenda. She is a contributing writer to ‘Stateless in Asaam: Precursors to Genocide and Crimes Against Humanity’ (Common Good Foundation, July 15, 2018).
Christine is the founder of Because She Can (BSC)Network- a mentoring organisation aimed at inspiring young girls to aspire to greater heights.
During her leisure time, Christine gives back to the community by speaking at student society functions and events. Christine also loves to write poems and presents them to august gatherings. She loves to swim, read and spend time with family and friends.
JEREMY RIRO- MEMBER
Distinguished scholar of entrepreneurship: with a particular interest in the nexus around entrepreneurship, economic development & structural transformation in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).
Mr. Riro is a visionary, a Pan Africanist, a fighter, a goal-achiever, an Africa Rising crusader and a champion for youth in entrepreneurship.
He subscribes to the Africapitalism school of thought; and believes that young African entrepreneurs whose mindsets are steeped in excellence, integrity, possibility and growth are the greatest asset the continent has in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and realizing Africa’s Agenda 2063.
Jeremy Riro is the Managing Partner at Fie-Consult: A Strategy Consulting and Investment Advisory firm based in Nairobi and focused on offering business development support services to SMEs with a goal of infusing growth to the evolving entrepreneurship ecosystem across SSA and promoting intra-Africa regional trade.
As a strategy consultant & financial analyst for 5 years, Jeremy has supported entrepreneurs to conduct in-depth industry research & feasibility analyses, develop business plans, develop financial plans & financial models, conduct fully-loaded costs analysis and develop efficient costs models, structure sustainable pricing models, do company valuations, develop and implement innovative growth strategies, write grant/project proposals, help businesses access growth funding and streamline business operating structures to give them a competitive edge within the evolving business ecosystem in Sub Saharan Africa (SSA).
Previously worked at Open Capital Advisors as a management consultant where he was part of teams engaged on projects in various sectors across East Africa.

Mr. Riro is a Business & Entrepreneurship Scholar from Kellogg School of Management at the Northwestern University in the US. Currently pursuing a graduate degree in MSc Entrepreneurship & Innovations Management at the University of Nairobi and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance Major) from the same institution.
Mr. Riro is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) of Kenya and currently a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) candidate at the CFA Institute.

INES AMRI- MEMBER
Ines Amri is a high-performing and Award-winning Executive with more than 10 years of experience in founding and establishing socially-minded NGOs in the Maghreb region, as well as an expert in education. She is the Founder/ Chair at Organisation Volonté et Citoyenneté (OVC), a community-based non-profit in the South of Tunisia. In 2015, she was headhunted to serve as the Managing Director of Maghreb Economic Forum, a Swiss-Tunisian Think-Do-Tank, where she successfully designed programs and built teams with the main aim to foster research and innovation in the fields of employment policies, gender networks, Maghreb economic integration and youth radicalization prevention, among many other policy issues in North Africa.
She currently serves as a Senior Advisor at national and international organizations like the DC-based International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), Arab Institute of Business Leaders (IACE) (Business Think-Tank), Candid Foundation gGmbH, Global Projects Partner gGmbH and Hilfswerk Austria, where she mainly supports in designing programs, innovation, fundraising, M&E and organizational culture. She is a member of diverse global networks like the EYL40 by Friends of Europe, BMW Foundation Responsible Leader, Bosch Foundation Fellow, Digital Arabia network (DAN), UNAOC, US Department of State Professional Fellows (Alumna Impact Award winner of 2017) and IVLP. She majored in English Literature from Manouba University in Tunis and was a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University in the City of New York in 2014. She is also an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) candidate at ESMT Berlin.
